CHRIS BROWN GIVES BACK IN L.A.

Chris Brown showed his charitable side by attending the ‘WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity’s Shoes’ event at Crenshaw Senior High School, where he is supporting a campaign to provide kids with Reebok shoes. Say what you want about Chris Brown, but I will say this in just seven months, his name has came across my desk at least once a month for some initiative of giving, which is something I can’t say for everyone, so you know I’m with it 100%! As reported by Hollywood Life Brown stopped by Crenshaw High School in LA on July 7 to pose with a group of adorable children, as he launches the ’WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity’s Shoes,’ which is a project that is providing Reeboks to 1000 youths at three sites in LA. He is truly inspiring.
As part of his Unity Campaign, Chris, 24, is working with the LA City mayor’s office and local gang reduction organizations to continue inspiring change in South Central LA. The “WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity’s Shoes” project is aiming to provide 1000 youths in The Jungles and Compton with Reebok shoes, as part of an effort to remind LA’s youth that they are part of a united community.
How impressive! Earlier this summer, Chris also featured local children in his video “Don’t Think They Know,” which was shot on location in in the Crenshaw High School neighborhood.
Chris’ Symphonic Love Foundation is producing the WE US events under the guidance of Deputy Mayor Guillermo Cespedes, and former gang members turned social activists Eugene “Big U” Henley and Skipp Townsend.
