Who is @Qmoshyn ?

Q’moshyn (pronounced “commotion”) connects with real people despite age, race, or gender. Birthed in Willingboro, NJ as the only child of two musically gifted ministers, he grew up around the performing arts. He discovered his own talent while singing in his church choir but found his niche while rapping the Nina Simone hit Young, Gifted, and Black for the off-Broadway Tribute to Lorraine Hansberry at age 11. In high school he would sing in the choir, but he honed his love for rap at lunch tables, pep rallies, and talent shows.
He dabbled in the industry as DJ Kinetic for 95.5 WBRU-FM, Providence, RI on the 360 Degree Black Experience In Sound while attending Brown University. This wordsmith flooded the airwaves with the WBRU 02 and ’03 promo freestyles, two songs voted into rotation, and the five-time Battle of the Beats winning single, "Q’moshyn Sickness" with his cousin Devin Wade. He co-founded the multi-cultural Hip Hop collective, Soul Cypher, which would eventually woo audiences across southern New England, and he performed in the Hip Hopera "Sweeter Than” as well as various open mikes, and talent shows in PA/NJ/NY. He joined Ex4 Family in ‘04, and his two groups would land a gig as the opening acts for the revolutionary artists, Dead Prez. He has since rapped on mixtapes including DJ Farhenheit's 'Making The Next Hit' and DJ Butta-Fingaz' "Independent" Mixtapes, acted with Samuel L. Jackson and Diddy, opened for Jonny 5 of FloBots, Sage Francis, Chubb Rock, Doug E. Fresh, and Special Ed. He is a finalist representing Trenton in the burgeoning SJ Cyphers online series, and as a founding member of the hip hop collective, #TheUnion, he frequents venues throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Q’mo keeps listeners on their toes with fresh elements of urban soul and classic Hip Hop. His stylish songwriting, crafty wordplay, and hard-hitting, fact-to-the matter social commentaries are guaranteed to satisfy both backpackers and the urban glitterati. He humbly states, "I got a lot of people depending on me and my gifts. My life purpose is to share them and inspire others to share their gifts - that is how I plan to contribute to Hip Hop culture and affect positive changes in the world."

Who is @BEveready ?

B.Eveready
The Complete 21st Century MC

Overview: B. Eveready is a Hip-Hop artist from Boston and has spent much of his upbringing in Baltimore and Pittsburgh. He has made inspiring music for eight years and has performed in Paris, New York, Boston, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh, all to rave reviews.

Bio: Born and bred in Boston, B.Eveready lists wide-ranging influences from Hip-Hop greats like Nas and B.I.G., to soul legends like James Brown and Teddy Pendegrass, and everything in between. If you've been wondering where Hip-Hop is going and who's going to bring it back, look no further. The sound is a blend of that old school knock, social commentary, and punch lines that'll make you hit the rewind button more than once. B.Eveready is known for his live show, & from Boston to B'more, Pittsburgh to Paris, stages have been torn, mics have been worn, and speakers have been blown; and it's only getting better. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, B's intelligence permeates his music & informs his perspective on the world. In the past, B.Eveready was half of the duo Unknown Prose. In 2004, Unknown Prose's debut album, "Knowteworthy", was released, selling over 3,000 copies. Unkown Prose subsequently performed in many venues on the East Coast, opening for national acts such as Talib Kweli and Jin the MC. Now as a solo artist, B.Eveready is hungry to establish himself amongst the upper echelon of emcees, and has recorded or performed with The Last Poets, Chen Lo & The Lo Frequency (U.S. State Dept. world music emissaries), Chaundon, Comp (formerly of Def Jam), Sean-Toure (Fat Beats), Gene Stovall, Daru Jones, Armstead Brown, Huli Shallone, Scholarman, Minlus & McCracken and more. The tracks from his C.P.T. EP/Mixtape, released in 2008, has been downloaded over 10,000 times, and The Guns & Butta EP/Mixtape has been well received by critics and fans alike. B is now focused on dropping his 2 new projects, "A Cold Summer's Day" EP and the compilation album "#INeedAManager". Both are poised to serve notice that B is a member of the upper echelon of MC's in the game today.
