Mary J. Blige's financial woes have QUADRUPLED -- on top of the $900k she allegedly owes the Garden State, TMZ has learned MJB has been slapped with a $3.4 MILLION bill from Uncle Sam.
The IRS filed a federal tax lien against the Grammy winner, claiming she failed to pay all her income taxes for the years 2009 ($574,907.30), 2010 ($2,203,743.53) and 2011 ($647,604.60).
Tax bill grand total: $3,426,255.43. Translation: A LOT OF FREAKING MONEY.
Of course, the IRS needs to get in line ... the State of NJ says MJB still owes $901,769.65 in back taxes. Blige is being sued for allegedly defaulting on a $2.2 million bank loan and her charity is facing a lawsuit that claims it took out a $250k loan and never paid it back.
Blige's rep tells us, "Mary has been and is continuing to work with her new team to resolve all these issues as quickly as possible."

T.D. Jakes: 'Fight the good fight' to save Jacksonville's young

In a rousing message that frequently had his Prime Osborn Convention Center audience on its feet and cheering, Bishop T.D. Jakes challenged Jacksonville’s interfaith community to step up and help save a generation of at-risk youth.
As the keynote speaker Monday at Mayor Alvin Brown’s annual Interfaith Breakfast, the famed Dallas pastor said that it will take the public, private and spiritual sectors working together to accomplish the goals of an increased high school graduation rate, strong families and decreased crime and unemployment rates.
“We need to fight the good fight of faith,” Jakes said. “Our job is daunting. A generation of people don’t have job skills, don’t know how to parent. ... We have a real job to do today.”
For the effort to be successful, political polarization and other cultural divisions must be overcome, he said.
“Rise up and support what unifies us. We don’t have to agree about everything to be united about something,” he said. “I still believe there is hope for our society. ... America needs a healing today. We’ve got to start to right, here and now.”
Fairly shouting, Jakes had the audience shouting affirmations.
“We are the people we have been waiting for. I am the ‘they’ that I hope for. If you see Goliath, tell him here I am,” he said. “We’re going to throw our rock today.”
Jakes, who has been preaching 37 years, is senior pastor of The Potter’s House, a 30,000-member church in Dallas and an author and commentator. His charitable programs provided medical screenings and dental help for Dallas area residents and disaster relief in Haiti, among other things.
When he introduced Jakes, Brown said his message of unity and “stubborn faith” was one the breakfast crowd needed to hear.
“I believe there is tremendous power when people of God work together,” Brown said, “I am sick and tired of our young people being locked up. Let’s take this city back.”
After his speech, Jakes told reporters that Brown and Jacksonville are “trendsetters” for including the faith community in citywide initiatives. He said he has seen some of that in other cities, but “not to the degree that we need to see it.”
The Rev. Garry Wiggins of Evangel Temple on Ramona Boulevard in Jacksonville, who issued the “call to action” that concluded the event, said there are 1,400 churches in the Jacksonville area. He challenged them to heed Jakes’ “compelling message to do something” by joining the Mayor’s Mentors program or by helping the city’s veterans and homeless.
“We can do better,” he said.

@KENDRICKLAMAR GIVES BACK....

The now platinum selling artist took a break from touring to play principal for the day at Mount Pleasant High School in Providence, RI. The school received the opportunity after its students won the Get Schooled National Attendance Challenge. The day was extra special for Lamar who is the first in his family to graduate high school, he gave the students a motivational speech, encouraging them to focus on their education.And his giving continued. It’s not every day that students get to sit down for a one-on-one with the number one hip hop artist in the game, but that’s exactly what happened at Bethel Regional High School. As the first place winners of the Future Forward Challenge, the Alaskan school chopped it up with Kendrick Lamar!
“Being able to Skype with the students at Bethel is a great experience,” said Kendrick. “They did so much hard work and having this moment with them is priceless for me and them.”
For three months the students competed against hundreds of other schools across the nation by playing educational games, taking polls, searching for scholarships and submitting great things about their teachers. But it was FAFSA completions that really blew their competition out of the water! According to the US Department of Education, 61% of Bethel seniors completed a FAFSA compared to a 41 percent average for seniors nationwide. Part of their reward was a Skype call with Kendrick Lamar.
The students were able to ask Kendrick questions about his music and dealing with thousands of fans; take pictures with him online and perform a few of their own rhymes for him. No matter what topics came up during the conversation, Kendrick reminded the students to stay focused on their education.
It was Kendrick’s seventh grade English teacher who motivated him to write poetry and improve his vocabulary, which ultimately led to his success as an artist. After sharing his own story, he encouraged the students to keep up the great work and continue on to college.
After 45 minutes of Skyping with the students, he rapped two verses of his chart-topping hit “Swimming Pools,” to the students and of course the students joined in! “To know that I’m able to have a presence in Alaska and have an impact with the students in Alaska is incredible,” he said. “Today was great! I hope we can do this again with Get Schooled and another school.”

TMZ broke the story ... Akon filed a paternity case against Rozina Negusei (one of his many baby mamas) because he wanted the court to establish custody, child support and legally recognize him as daddy Akon to their two young sons.
As part of the process, Akon had to file docs about how much money he makes. He listed his income as $40,708/month and based on that number, a judge ordered him to pony up $5,000/month for the kids.
According to the docs, the judge took into consideration that Akon makes SIX other child support payments.
As for the rest of it ... Akon's baby mama received sole physical custody and the two will share legal custody. Akon also gets a say in all major decisions and will cover health insurance for the two boys.

So much for a cooler, calmer Kanye ...
West just emerged from a restaurant in L.A. and exploded on a photog -- not a TMZ guy -- screaming at the cameraman to stop taking photos, ASAP.
Minutes before the incident, Kanye had banged his head into a metal sign while trying to hide his face from a pack of paparazzi ... and blamed it on the snappers.
West restrained himself from going after the paps in the moments after the head-slamming, only to emerge from the eatery minutes later ... even angrier than he was before.
The pap told West he had just arrived on the scene -- and meant no harm.
West eventually turned around and went back into the restaurant. It's unclear if Kanye ever laid a hand on the photog.

Everyone has a tequila story, and Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner had theirs Thursday night ... with an evening that started at a Mexican restaurant and ended with them getting KICKED OUT of Kim's house ... TMZ has learned.
According to our sources, Khloe and Kris went out for a girls' night and hit up Casa Vega in the Valley for some dinner and a few margaritas (FORESHADOWING!!!!). The ladies had a good time and K&K even posted a pic of the pair wearing sombreros and captioned it "She's wild man" (see above).
We're told the pair took a car service and went straight from the restaurant to the popular West Hollywood bar The Abbey to shoot a scene for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." The only problem ... they smartly decided they were too drunk to shoot ... so they left without even getting out of the SUV.
According to Abbey patrons, the ordeal pissed off management because they had roped off a prime section for the shoot.
But it doesn't end there ... Khloe and Kris then had the brilliant idea to go from the bar to Kim's house ... because who doesn't love partying with drunk women more than a PREGNANT CHICK?!?!?
It predictably didn't go well, and Kim told the girls to take a hike.
And thus ends the story of the greatest episode of "KUWTK" that never was

Daddy Mac Breaks down....

Ja Rule is finally a free man ... TMZ has learned, the rapper was released from prison today after serving out his sentences for attempted illegal gun possession and tax evasion.
Mr. Rule -- real name Jeffrey Atkins -- was released from Ray Brook Federal Prison in New York this morning. A source close to the rapper tells TMZ, his wife picked him up around 10AM and drove him straight home, where he'll remain on home confinement until July 28th.
The rapper was hit with the 2-year sentence in 2010 when he pled guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon -- stemming from a 2007 incident in which cops found a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his sports car. He turned himself in to authorities in June 2011.
In July 2011, Ja Rule was also sentenced to 28 months behind bars for tax evasion, after failing to pay taxes on more than $3 million in earnings from 2004-2006. Ja Rule served the tax evasion sentence concurrently with his gun possession sentence.
He was originally set for release in July ... but he got out early.

@PorshaDStewart - MY DIVORCE IS REAL
Porsha Williams says her divorce from former NFL star Kordell Stewart is ABSOLUTELY NOT a publicity stunt or a contrived plotline for "Real Housewives" ... but she wishes it was.
After TMZ broke the story that Kordell pulled the plug on the marriage back in March ... several media outlets called B.S. on the split, claiming it was a cheap P.R. stunt concocted in the hopes they would stay on the show for another season.
But Porsha's rep tells us ... the notion of a phony divorce is "absolutely ridiculous" ... explaining, "Given everything this abrupt divorce filing has put her through in the public, [Porsha] would never bring something like this on herself, especially with them having a child in the house."
The rep adds, "[Porsha] wishes things could have been different [with Kordell] but that simply is not possible.”
We also spoke with Porsha's attorney, Randy Kessler, who says the two sides are trying to keep the split amicable and are working on reaching a separation agreement as quickly as possible.
The two were married in 2011 and have no children together ... but Kordell has a son from a previous relationship.

Lil Kim Sued
Lil Kim's been slapped with a not-so-lil lawsuit by her former biz manager ... who claims her money-grubbing, diva-like behavior cost him MILLIONS in botched endorsement deals.
Andrew Ro says his company, International Rock Star Corp, inked a licensing deal with Kim back in August 2012 and planned to roll out a slew of products, including a perfume line, clothing line, vodka drink, energy drink, Steve Madden shoe line and even a honey maker.
Problem is Ro says Kim was a menace to work with and often refused to come to project meetings unless she was being paid extra for her time -- making it difficult to get anything off the ground.
Not only that, he says when a project was finally executed -- like her perfume -- Kim refused to promote the product and then stopped taking their phone calls.
After Kim cut contact, Ro says she fired off a cease and desist letter regarding future projects too ... and then filed a lawsuit claiming IRS tricked her into a bad licensing deal.
Ro fired back with his own suit, claiming Lil Kim's to blame and her antics cost his company $15 million.
A judge has yet to rule.

Andrew Ro says his company, International Rock Star Corp, inked a licensing deal with Kim back in August 2012 and planned to roll out a slew of products, including a perfume line, clothing line, vodka drink, energy drink, Steve Madden shoe line and even a honey maker.
Problem is Ro says Kim was a menace to work with and often refused to come to project meetings unless she was being paid extra for her time -- making it difficult to get anything off the ground.
Not only that, he says when a project was finally executed -- like her perfume -- Kim refused to promote the product and then stopped taking their phone calls.
After Kim cut contact, Ro says she fired off a cease and desist letter regarding future projects too ... and then filed a lawsuit claiming IRS tricked her into a bad licensing deal.
Ro fired back with his own suit, claiming Lil Kim's to blame and her antics cost his company $15 million.
A judge has yet to rule.

LIL WAYNE AND TRICK DADDY DRAMA
Lil Wayne's night in a Miami strip club almost ended with blows -- he and Trick Daddy came dangerously close to a Drake-Chris Brown type brawl ... and TMZ has photos inside the club.
Weezy was chillin' at King of Diamonds last night when, according to sources inside the club, he started to get a bad vibe from Trick Daddy's posse.
We're told Wayne decided to cut the night short, and while walking out with the homie Mack Maine ... a few of TD's boys stepped up and threw a lit cigarette in Wayne's dreads.
Before Wayne could react ... we're told KOD security jumped in between the parties and cooled off the situation.
Also, our sources say at no point were Trick Daddy and Wayne ever face-to-face -- and Trick Daddy was not with his boys when things got heated outside.
King of Diamonds tells TMZ, "It's sad they had to revisit a situation that was Internet beef ... while surrounded by naked girls."
TD's been jawing at Wayne over Twitter ever since he went on a major anti-Miami rant back in February.
We reached out to Weezy and Trick Daddy's camps ... nothing back yet.
KOD says both rappers are welcome back anytime.
Trick Daddy tells TMZ he's open to a proposed sit-down with Lil Wayne to settle their feud ... but what he's actually doing is throwing gasoline on the fire.
In case you're not up to speed ... Lil Wayne went ballistic after a member of Trick's posse allegedly flicked a cigarette in Wayne's dreads at a Miami strip club.
Mr. Daddy isn't copping to the incendiary move. Now here's where it gets bad. Rather than trying to make things nice, Daddy's logic is ... "If I [wanted to start s**t with Lil Wayne] he would have been in the hospital for a different reason than a seizure."
Trick is bitter ... claiming Wayne's gotten him blackballed from all the good strip clubs in Miami ... and hey, now all that's left are the butterface joints.
Finally ... enter Birdman ... who has the good sense to try and defuse the situation between the 2 feuding rappers by scheduling a sit-down happy meal.
Birdman ... He's like Dennis Rodman, without the North Koreans.

Kobe and Mama Bryant going at it....
Kobe Bryant is in a tooth-and-nail fight with his mother over some priceless basketball memorabilia, including his 1998 All Star ring.
Seems Kobe's mom, Pamela Bryant, made a deal with Goldin Auctions to sell hoards of Kobe's bball swag, including a 2000 All Star game signed ball, game and practice jerseys from his days at Lower Merion High School, a Lakers jacket and shorts, trophies, his varsity high school letters and lots of other stuff.
According to a lawsuit ... obtained by TMZ ... the auction house gave Pamela a $450,000 advance, which she says will be used immediately to buy a new home. According to the lawsuit, Pamela told the auction house Kobe gave her all the stuff outright 5 years ago.
But Kobe has beef, claiming he's the owner of the stuff and he's trying to block the auction.
So a fearful Goldin Auctions has gone to court, naming Kobe as the defendant and asking a judge to declare Pamela the owner of the goods.
A judge has yet to rule.
This is so sad, Kobe has expressed his hurt via twitter. Kobe said he was caught off guard.

NAS STATES ITS THE PROMOTERS OWN FAULT...
Nas is asking a judge to throw out a concert promoter's $10 million lawsuit -- saying the man has only himself to blame for being kidnapped in Angola and held nearly two months ... and besides, they settled this already.
TMZ broke the story ... Patrick Allocco alleged the rapper took $300k for a New Year's Eve concert in the African nation ... then no-showed. Allocco says Angolan promoters held him for ransom for 50 days beginning in December 2011 ... beating and threatening him at gunpoint until they got their money back.
Nas filed court docs Monday saying they settled the matter during the promoter's captivity, which included an agreement that if Nas repaid the advance -- which the rapper eventually did -- Allocco wouldn't sue.
What's more, Nas says Allocco knew what he was getting into ... he flew to Angola to be "human security" for the concert deal before the rapper even signed on.
As for why he no-showed in the first place ... Nas says the promoter breached their original contract by failing to provide enough security, fumbling their plane tickets and paying the $300K advance late.
Nas is asking the court for an outright dismissal.
Well do we agree with Nas, the man is probably broke and some one whispered in his ear that if he sues he probably can get a lot more then what Nas gave originally. $10 million is a lot of money.

I did only 3 songs right now, I am going to try and do 3 more a little later before I go out. Well lets see I did over 100 squats, 50 push-ups, 150 reps in total for the different ab work outs, and over 5 mins of straight work out. I am proud of myself, but I do have to admit that I did not eat the most healthy meals today. I know do right, NO Excuses....

Lindsay Lohan checks into Rehab
Lindsay Lohan is safely ensconced at the Betty Ford Center rehab facility in Rancho Mirage, CA ... TMZ has learned.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Lindsay checked in late Thursday night ... barely dodging a looming arrest warrant.
We broke the story ... Lindsay has re-hired Shawn Holley, who then negotiated with Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White to make the deal that Betty Ford was an acceptable rehab joint.
It's ironic Lindsay is at Betty Ford -- you'll recall back in 2010 Lindsay got into an epic fight during her rehab stay with a staffer. The police were called and civil lawsuits were filed. It's amazing Betty Ford took her back.
We're told prosecutors will back off their promise to seek an arrest warrant today ... although they still have to get the judge to sign off on Betty Ford, but it looks like that will just be a formality.

Mountain Dews Drops Lil Wayne
According to TMZ.com:
Lil Wayne will no longer "do" Mountain Dew ... the soda company announced it's DROPPING the rapper over a rap verse in which he compared the beating of Emmett Till to rough sex.
Wayne was a major spokesperson for Mountain Dew --starring in several commercials. Wayne began appearing in Dew ads in early 2012. Mountain Dew is owned by PepsiCo.
It's unclear when PepsiCo will stop running ads featuring the rapper.
Weezy came under fire back in February over a verse he dropped on the song "Karate Chop" ... in which he said, "Pop a lot of pain pills, 'bout to put rims on my skateboard wheels ... beat that p***y up like Emmett Till."
FYI -- Till was 14 back in 1955 when he was beaten beyond recognition, shot and dumped in a river ... after he was accused of flirting with a white woman in Mississippi. His open-casket funeral and murder trial were early flashpoints in the civil rights movement.
Wayne had sent a letter to Till's family -- saying he's sorry their feelings were hurt by the song ... but the family REJECTED the letter, saying the statement "falls short of an apology."

Clearly this generation does not realize the sacrafices African Americans made early on, look how rappers toss around the word NIGGA, did Mountain Dew wan t to drop him then. No not at all, Mountain Dew had no problem supporting Lil Wayne when he was referring to drugs, hoes, and BITCHES, or the fact that he was running around screwing so many women unprotected. Not judging, I am just saying. I think it is going to be a while before I fully support Pepsi/Mountain Dew. I am not saying Mountain Dew is wrong for dropping Lil Wayne, but I am saying wow it took all of that, if you were looking for an honorable citizen to represent your Company, I do not think Lil Wayne should have ever been offered the part.

10 MIN WORK OUT TO HIP HOP
Okay heres the deal, I like to dance, and I need to start working out. Well I started this Friday (May 5th) and plan on increasing the amount of songs I dance to. I do not want it to feel like a work out so of course I started slow. I only picked 3 songs, but how I look at it, its better then none. I am excited about this journey. I hope to loose 60 pounds when it is all said and done with. I have totally changed my eating habbits. I will be doing some extra ab exercises because I would really like some definition.

Dozens of San Diego area high school students have been suspended and banned from prom or commencement because of a twerking video according to one parent. The video, created recently by students in a media class at Scripps Ranch High School, shows teenaged girls twerking while doing handstands to a YG song. Thirty-two students danced and one student used school property to videotape the group outside class during 6th period." - 7 San Diego
What is twerking?
A great amount of credit for the expansion of twerking outside of the city of New Orleans can be given to the strip clubs of Houston and Atlanta. In 2011 The Twerk Team was mentioned in the song "Round of Applause" by Atlanta-based rapper Waka Flocka Flame featuring Drake: "Bounce that ass, shake that ass like the Twerk Team".Bandz A Make Her Dance rapper Juicy J has a line "start twerking when she hear her song",while French Montana questions the ability of a girl to twerk by asking "What you twerkin' with" in his song "Pop That" featuring Drake, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross. This song, along with "Express Yourself" by Nicky Da B & Diplo, "made twerking the most popular dance move since the Dougie". Rapper Lady released a song called "Twerk".
