Read My Story!,,,SHARE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

SHARE MY STORY....
Well I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 30 year old African-American female living in the Jacksonville, FL area. Within the last 2 weeks my life has turned upside down. I finally got the courage to leave an abusive relationship after 2 years trying to stay and make it work. The reason I finally decided to leave was because I was 16 weeks pregnant and started to think about my unborn child growing inside of me. I had a previous pre-term pregnancy and my little girl did not make it. God knows how bad I want to be a mother and I felt this was my chance. I wanted to protect myself and my unborn child. I decided on May 29th that this will be the last time you put your hands on me.

Then the worst happened, June 8th my water broke and I was devastated. I was scared, the doctors let me know that the outcome would not be good because I did not have much amniotic fluid left in my sack. I was released from the hospital June 9th on complete bed rest, and ordered to follow up with my doctor on Thursday. I prayed and prayed! I researched on the Internet and read some of the sad stories and also some of the happy endings. I still had hope. On Thursday, June 11th I went to my doctors appointment to be told the bad news that they would have to admit me to the hospital because infection had set in. I called my mom scared and crying because yet again the worse was happening.

I was admitted to the hospital at 2:00pm and the doctors let me know my options, I was scared. Then around 4pm with out being induced my contractions started and I knew I was in labor. My baby boy was born June 12th at 6:06am. I could not believe this was happening again. At 2pm I had to have surgery because I was not able to deliver the placenta. My mind and body was drained.

I let his father know on June 13th once I was released from the hospital and received more confirmation that he did not care about me. I felt so broken. Why me is what I kept asking myself.

I am putting this luncheon together to bring women together so we can empower each other and build relationships. We all go through different experiences in life, but our experience might help uplift the next person.

I look forward to hearing from you, #BabyLorenzoCarter and #BabyAlexandriaCorrinne will not let mommy stop helping others, even though I have suffered. My babies are looking down on me saying mommy you can do it, continuing helping others.

I AM FIERCE & FABULOUS

Professional Women's Empowerment group for the everyday woman. Fierce & Fabulous wants to provide an outlet where women can empower each other and establish relationships that can carry on throughout their entrepreneurial endeavors and life challenges women face on a daily basis.

We will be coming together August 1st to empower women of the community. We will have a panel of guest speakers to discuss the everyday challenges women experience and how to balance it all. At the beginning of the event we will have a location set up for vendors to display products or food. Once the ladies enter the event they will receive a passport card with all the vendors listed and will be challenged to visit as many vendors as possible.

Fierce and Fabulous will pick 20 families in need and supply them with school clothes, school supplies, and personal hygiene items to start off the school year.
